About / Privacy / Disclosure
First of all, I would like to begin by thanking you for coming to my website in the first place. Secondly, I would like to thank you for caring enough about who I am and the work I have done to actually find your way over here to the About Me page.
I wish I could say that my story is an interesting one, but it isn’t. I am sure you must have guessed as much when you took a quick gander at the length of this page and saw that I really don’t have all that much to say about myself. I am just a regular person living with a small town heart in a big city life. The ideas of home, family, friends and entertaining have always been dear to me. I jump at any chance I can get to connect with the people who matter to me and usually find myself hosting tens, if not hundreds, of events throughout the year to make that happen.
Although I grew up in a home where the same things were valued, circumstances meant that I wasn’t able to learn a lot of the finer details involved in throwing these events, hosting these dinners, or selecting the cookware and cutlery to be used in their creation. These are things I have sort of had to figure out on my own as time has gone by. I created this website in an effort to take some of the guesswork out of similar situations for other people. I spent countless hours researching recipes and cutlery; knives and pots and pans.
I figure that I can take some of the trouble and struggle I experienced and put it to use in preventing someone else from having to do the same; if I can, I will have done a good thing in this world. I hope that you find something useful within these virtual pages to make your own journey a little bit easier.
